After leaving Paris, I continued my journey to Nantes in western France. I was fortunate to find a local French couple who could host me. They were also willing to spend time teaching me how to make a special, simple French snack – Croque Monsieur.
The name sounds quite fancy. While we were shopping for ingredients, the host explained what Croque Monsieur is. By the end I was thinking, “Isn’t this just a sandwich?” But they insisted that it was different from an ordinary sandwich. So I searched on Google, and it showed that Croque Monsieur is a ham and cheese sandwich… 😆😆😆
But since the host was so adamant that Croque Monsieur is not an ordinary sandwich, let’s see how this French snack is made~😁
